100$? Pryszcz, zamówię sobie kilka Oszaleli, przy takiej konferencji to spokojnie mogli wydać spory nakład o bardziej ludzkich kosztach. No, ale jak zrobią prestiżowy unikat, to więcej kasy zarobią (nie ważne czy idzie na TE czy do prywatnej kieszeni), bo nie widzę innego powodu, by książka była tak droga.

Cena jest owszem dołująca. Właściwie pocieszające sa dwie kwestie. Pierwsza to objętość te 100 USD za niemal 900 stron dobrej tolkienologii, to cena może nieco wygórowana, ale jeszcze w granicach akceptacji. I tu drugi element. Na szczęście złotówka jest mocna i mamy 2 PLN za 1 USD a nie na przykład 3,50, jak jeszcze nie tak dawno temu.

To nadal dużo, ale chyba się skuszę. tak pocichu liczę, że może jako autor dostanę jakiś rabat, nawet 10% byłoby miłe.

A tak w ogole zostac opublikowanym w takim gronie, to jednak wielka przyjemność.

Jakby mi ktoś dał te 100$, nabyłabym natychmiast tę publikację, a tak to będę się długo i głęboko zastanawiać I w dodatku nie wiadomo, czym to się skończy.

Zupełnie nie mogę zrozumieć, czemu u nas prawie wszystko mamy na poziomie europejskim, nawet nadmiar pracy (tu już powoli stajemy się Drugą Japonią), poza dochodami oczywiście

A swoją drogą, wydawnictwo warto by mieć na własnej półce.

Wpisy coś się tutaj zmieniły,a le skoro to jest kilka tomów/książek, a nie jedna (widać nieuważnie przeczytałam), to cena jest bardziej usprawiedliwiona.

M.L. - a nie powinni się z wami skontaktować przed drukiem? Chyba, że występując na konferencji z góry podpisaliście zgodę na późniejszą publikację.

Pogrubienie moje. "the souvenir book should be sent to you" ? hmm, czyżby to był jakiś gratis dla uczestników konferencji? Fajnie by było

Tak jak napisala Nif, kontaktowali się jeszcze przed konferencja. Wtedy w ramach pakietu dla prelegentow bbyło zapytanie o zgodę na publikacje i prosba o dostarczenie tekstu. Więc teoretycznie nie powinienem się dziwić, ale ...
Zawsze jest jakieś ale. Jak powiedziała Nif to było trzy lata temu i zwyczajnie o tym zapomnialem. Po drugie wcale nie było na 100% pewne, że ten zbiór powstanie i kiedy. Wreszcie, organizatorzy rezerwowali sobie prawo wyboru.

Tysz dzisiaj dostalem takiego lista.
A jednak nie śmiem liczyć.
